Loved the book.. I didn't get the title in relation to the story line except they came from Yorkshire, but I think it's an English thing and since I'm from the US our expressions aren't the same.. That's why I love loads of authors from Great Britian.. I'm very much an Anglophile..l love all of Milly Johnson's books.. they make me laugh and then want to kill the nasty guys..Product details

Excellent...I love Milly Johnson!!!Each book is special and I can never put it down until it ends!!!Living in a tropical island(PR)in the Caribbean , I love English books because they are so different from my life!!!!Keep the good work.
Very entertaining and cute, specially if you are expecting. It brought tears to my eyes and the occasional laugh, truly recommend it
I thought this would be a funny read since it had pregnant women in it. Before you flake me let me just say that from past experience reading issues and the ups and downs that pregnant mothers go through (I am a mother) is quite laughable at the most. This book was just blaahh!! The pregnancies were not exciting especially for mothers to be at that age. I am a bit wary of trying out her other books. Cause for sure I did not have any laugh out loud moments and it is what the book said you would find.
loved every one of her books. they may sometimes start a little slow, but she has a way of drawing you into the story so you can't wait to read to the end.
I purchased this as an audiobook on Audible and it has made me a Milly Johnson fan. Cannot wait to get my hands on more of her work. Chick-Lit that goes deeper than Jimmy Choo's and Lipstick. Highly recommend.
I rarely give a 5 star rating book but this one is deserved. It's such a wonderful yet realistic portrait of friendship and I loved following the pregnancies. I am amazed that this was a first novel. I hope that the author's books are good as well.
This book is exactly what you'd expect - a quick, easy read about friendship. It is often funny and definitely appropriate for anyone who is or has been pregnant.
However as someone who is used to reading literature, it was a little difficult to get past the exaggerated explanations of EVERYTHING. I often felt like the author was force-feeding me the feelings of the characters. I would have given it 3 stars but because I could really relate as a freaked out pregnant lady, I enjoyed it more than I usually would have ;)
